I am a teacher a Whitesburg Middle School, a small school of about 200, located in Letcher Co., Ky. As part of our Program Review, we have been studying about the beginnings of certain genres of music. It is really neat to question students about what their thoughts are and then see them discover things they never knew about music they've listened to all their lives! This is an interesting venture and I enjoy watching the students learn.
